5th Nov: fundraising, t'interweb, and plot

Guido (aptly) picked up on this one earlier today. Yesterday, libertarian Republican candidate Ron Paul managed to raise over $4m in one day, online.

The site, http://thisnovember5th.com/, is a reference to his distrust of the state as it (according to him) continues to encroach on the freedom of the individual. However, his spokesperson was at pains to stress that his philosophy doesn't encompass blowing up buildings with wild abandon:

“He wants to demolish things like the Department of Education,” Mr. Benton said, “but we can do that very peacefully, in a constructive manner.”

Er ... that makes us feel a lot better Ron, cheers for that.
