The Quiet Man (II) in deadly peril

ming 121007.jpgThe Get Ming campaign gathers pace with the blogosphere and the mainstream media feeding off each other's words like Pavarotti in a pasta factory.

Guido and Iain Dale both carry stories about Simon Hughes putting the knife in, but Westmonster cannot help but think that his words fail to provide a definite instruction for the Libs marching behind the Grand Old Duke of York to unsheathe their swords and lay waste to their leader.

It appears to be this thread on Liberal Democrat Voice that started off the frenzy, but as the Libs are trailing behind at 11 percent in the polls and Nick Clegg is widely mooted as Ming's successor, the general consensus is that he cannot hang on for long.
