So Basher Davis has compared Justice Secretary Jack Straw to that esteemed criminologist, BA Baracus.

Once more, people: politicians should never, ever attempt humour. The only one who could get away with it was Chucky K. And look what happened to him.

Apart from anything else, BA is clearly not Straw, but the Gord himself: the backbone of the team without whom they couldn't operate (the cheque's in the post, right?). Straw is Hannibal Smith: a senior member of the old guard who's seen it all before. The Face Man is Ed Miliband, who has the unenviable task of trying to excite everybody on the issue of citizens' juries, and is assisted in this endeavour by the sort of good looks that are much appreciated by the laydeez.
