Run Vince! Run!

Spotted in Portcullis House: acting leader of the Liberal Democrats, former knife wielder, and potential leadership candidate Vince Cable running at surprising speed past the lunchtime phalanx of posing bag-carriers.

Is Vince attempting to bolster his claim to the leadership by demonstrating he can move faster than Sir Ming, or was it an attempt to implant the words "Cable" and "[in the] running" (geddit?) in the mind of an unruffled looking Nick Clegg who was apparently loitering nearby?
