Department for Tax and Spend

Oooh! Back of the net!

george osborne.jpgGood news for the comrades at last in the pre-budget report!

The Eyebrow's just announced that he's going to raise the threshold for inheritance tax to £600,000, in order to balance fair taxation with health and education spending, and he combined it with a nice bitchslap directed at the Tories over their "sums not adding up."

The Boy George, it would appear, cannot memorise speeches or ad lib. He's just squeaked his way through a performance that was presumably written in the "poll boom" over the weekend, comprising as it did incoherent squeals about elections and how the Conservatives are, like, where it's at.

Alistair's currently nonchalantly weeing all over his fireworks. Macro-economically speaking, that is.
