Guido's got the image of the Tory attack poster which is all, "we WANTED an election, but the Gord chickened out like a wuss. We were well up for it, though, the lousy bottler."

Given that the Conservatives were the last people who actually wanted an election when it was being mooted as a serious prospect, the sentiments expressed in this advert are somewhat analogous to George Best explaining that the only reason he's in the pub is because the Betty Ford Clinic was closed.
