Cutting crime the BBC way

BBC to cut coverage of crime as part of it's economy drive; as soon as the right-wing blogosphere wakes up, expect to hear that this is due to the malign influence of the agents of the Gord in our Midst... biased BBC... et cetera.

For her own part, Westmonster wonders why the Beeb cuts didn't begin and end with Graham Norton and anyone connected with the production of Two Pints of Lager and A Packet of Crisps. Job done.
