A big thumbs up from everybody at Westmonster following the news that a seventeen year old schoolgirl has been selected as a PPC.

According to the website:

Her name? Emily Benn - granddaughter of Tony and niece of Hilary. Natch.

Now, Westmonster doesn't want to hear complaining from of any of you aspirant PPCs who have spent long years pounding the pavements, being chased by large dogs, standing for council, and submitting yourselves to all the other attendant horrors of being involved in the Labour Party.

If you've lacked the foresight to be born to important, well-connected parents, you've only yourselves to blame.
